No Porn On The Xbox 360 Sky Player
Playboy TV, Television X and The Adult Channel, which are all porn TV channels available from Sky in the UK. Microsoft has just launched the Sky Player on the Xbox 360, will it allow Xbox 360 gamers who have the Sky Player, to watch porn straight from their console?
“Unlikely” said Sky’s Director of On Demand Griff Parry in an interview with VideoGamer.com. “No plans at the moment. I suspect it’s quite unlikely. But it’s always possible.”
As there were some technical hiccups on Tuesday (27/10/09), you are now able to download and use the Sky Player on the Xbox 360.
It currently offers you a selection of 24 LIVE channels, which include Sports and Movies. Reminder: You can enhance the Live sports and movies with your friends in the Avatar Party Mode so you may chat away and watch the match/movies together.
You also have TV On Demand with the Sky Player, which leaves you with hundreds of movies, sports, TV shows and documentaries available to watch, when you want.
Though for the Adult channels, they aren’t on the list, and probably won’t any time soon so don’t get you hopes up.
“The general idea is we’re reassembling the set-top box proposition,” said Parry. “Those channels are part of that. But I think they would be among the last things we would look to add. The focus is a mainstream proposition.”
A big bummer for all who have Sky TV.
