Aliens Vs Predator has becomes SEGA’s fastest-selling title in the publisher’s history. So this Rebellion FPS became the fastest-selling title of 2010, with better opening week figures set by Mass Effect 2 and BioShock 2.
“We are absolutely delighted with the strong first week sales of Aliens vs Predator,” said SEGA UK managing director John Clark.
Shockingly, Take-Two have just revealed that their underwater FPS franchise, BioShock, has only reached sales of seven million units in total.
BioShock 2 has shipped over three million units since it’s release on the 9th February 2010.
Ben Feder, Take-Two’s CEO has said that more DLC (downloadable content) is on the way for the hit FPS/RPG title Borderlands. Good Times.
“Borderlands continues to build on its success in the market,” Feder said during Take-Two’s quarterly financial earnings call.
“We will continue to support the title with more add-on content,” he added.
Mass Effect 2’s ‘Firewalker’ DLC is heading for a release late March.
The DLC brings players 5 new missions featuring the all new Hammerhead. Hammerhead is a BIG heavy assault vehicle which hovers, making it nice and easy to scale the battlefield as well as going at 120 kilometres per hour. It is also equipped with a guided missile system just in case you don’t like the design of your neigh-bours new shed in the back of their garden…
Aaron Greenberg, Microsofts’s Director of Product Management for Xbox 360 believes that the Xbox 360 has what it takes to outsell the PS3 for 2010, even though he admits Sony isn’t going to make this easy to achieve.
The next step in the Tom Clancy’s franchise has been announced, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and it’ll be heading for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
“To those who wondered, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will also release on PS3 : same experience, same development team and same release date,” tweeted Ubisoft community developer, Aymeric Evennou.

“Rapture is probably one of the most unique places ever invented. I have to imagine that there are many stories that could be told within its walls,” states Kamper.
