The announcement that Lionhead was…well..announcing, turned out to be a release date, pricing and multiplayer details for the upcoming Fable 2 DLC; See The Future. You can pick up the DLC on May 12, priced at 560MSP. A bargain considering Knothole Isle is 800.
Lionhead has also stated that Xbox Live Silver subscribers will be able to play alongside Gold subscribers from May 8 through May 11th. Just to get you in that adventuring spirit.
Namco has announced that “Magna Carta 2″ will be hitting European stores in Autumn 09. The game is built on Unreal 3, and tells the story of “Luto”, who suffers from amnesia and the war ravaged Lanzheim Continent. The game is said to feature 40+ hours of gameplay, fully voiced dialogue as well as CGI cutscenes. Press release after the jump.
According to CVG, Ubisoft has confirmed that a new Ghost Recon game, simply titled ‘Ghost Recon 4′, and Splinter Cell: Conviction are to release this fiscal year (between now and march 2010). Both games are expected to be showcased at E3 this year.

In the latest ESPLA sales awards it was revealed that Halo Wars has sold 100,000 in the UK, and Halo 3 has sold a whopping 1,000,000 in the UK alone. Other notable sales include GTA 4, which also sold 1,000,000. Full list after the jump!
A new Mass Effect game is coming to an iPhone and iPod Touch near you! Newly announced Mass Effect: Jacobs Story tells the story of a character in the Mass Effect universe by the name of (you’ll never guess it) Jacob. It bridges the story between the two games and fills you in on the back story of some of the characters you will meet in Mass Effect 2.
Bioware:
“Here is your opportunity to play the story of Jacob Taylor, a biotic-powered super-soldier who stumbles across a plot to terrorize civilization’s greatest beacon of hope. Can you prevent a heinous attack that threatens to knock humanity off the galactic stage?”
The game will supposedly have a two hour long storyline with elements of both a graphic novel and a top-down shooter. The game will be priced at $2.99
Is it Lionhead’s new super secret awesome game?! No, probably not. This ‘major anouncement’ is most likely more info on the new Fable 2 ‘See the future’ DLC, or maybe even early stirrings on the third peice of DLC for Fable 2. Lionhead’s community manager today said
