Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising gameplay trailer + screens
Looks pretty good, reminds me of Battlefield: Bad Company…but bigger. Screens after the jump.

Seriously Rare? SERIOUSLY? Thats the best you can do? Windows Movie Maker much? Anyway, hit the jump for some screens as well.

IGN has just posted a load of brand spanking new screenshots of the upcoming Just Cause 2 developed by Eidos. The game looks a lot better than the first game released early in the 360s life, and is said to contain over 100 different vehicles and 50 varied missions. Check the screens out right HERE.

A couple of new screenshots for Battlefield Bad Company 2 have surfaced on the net. Looks pretty similar to the last game….except they’ve replaced the sand/dirt/dust with snow. Lots of snow.
I’ve mentioned before that I’m an achievement whore. I’m not ashamed to admit that. That’s why, when I was sent Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian by Gamefly, I was pretty excited. I’ve looked at the achievement points online and they didn’t seem very hard. Play the game, collect all of the chests, and kill a certain number of enemies – cake. This game is more like the fruitcake that you get at Christmas. This is like some really lame birthday cake that has your picture on it. This cake sucks.
Pros and cons – after the jump.

Looks like
Final Fantasy XIII may be almost complete, according to Japanese magazine Dengeki. The developers of the game told the magazine that the games progress is almost coming to an end, with 80% of the graphics complete and 100% of the story finalised. The team is now working on refining the battle system to make those fights extra epic. There’s even more awesome news, with a confirmation that all trailers that have recently been released are from an older-more-unfinished build of the game. So expect it to look even prettier come release day. Win.

ITS OVER 6000!. According to Capcom anyway. The graphics engine that Dead Rising 2 is built on apparently will allow the screen to be filled to the brim with up to 6000 zombies. The claim was made at a presentation at GDC, with Izmeth Siddeek of the Bluecastle development team saying;
“‘Dead Rising 2′ deal[s] with the rendering of the greatest number of characters ever seen in a video game,” he said. “Everything else needed to be subordinated to this requirement.”
The feat will be pulled off using the newly developed “Mental Mill” technology, This allows the developer to fill the screen (literally) with unique characters, that all react differently without loss of graphical quality.
Somehow I doubt we will be seeing 6000 zombies at once…

370,000. Thats how many. Now I’m no expert…but that’s a lot of words.

I hope they keep the humor of the first game….

In an interview titled “See the Future” with IGN, Lionhead’s Peter Molyneux dropped some juicy new information regarding upcoming DLC for Fable 2. New DLC will be available in spring 09 and it will apparently be a lot better than what Knothole Island had to offer, with Molyneux telling IGN
“It’s going to tie up a few loose threads that were in the Fable II and the Fable I story.”
Top stuff, I’ve yet to download Knothole Island, but I’m guessing that when this DLC becomes available, Knothole will go on the cheap (Fingers crossed).
Regarding a new Lionhead game (Read: NOT FABLE RELATED) Molyneux had this to say:
“Lionhead shouldn’t be thought of as just doing Fable,” “Definitely not. In fact we’ve been working on, working incredibly hard, on something else. We haven’t been allowed to talk about that something else because the rule is we have to have something to show, to prove it. Those days of high media concept are gone now and quite rightfully so.”
Anybody else hoping for a new Black and White?
